The Chief Guest and Reviewing Officer for today's grand parade is Vice Admiral Sanjay Vatsayan (FOC-IN-C, Western Naval Command). He will watch and review the march past of the fresh recruits.
This year’s batch brings a powerful mix of new talent for the Indian Navy and Indian Coast Guard. Here is the clear breakdown of the 3,012 trainees passing out today:

Agniveer SSR (Senior Secondary Recruit): 2,192 recruits.
Agniveer MR (Matric Recruit): 554 recruits.
Indian Coast Guard: 265 personnel.
Women Power on the Field
In a major boost for women in the armed forces, 116 women Agniveers are part of this passing out batch. Among them, 69 are joining as SSR recruits and 47 are joining as MR recruits. They have trained shoulder-to-shoulder with their male counterparts and are now ready for duty.

After weeks of tough physical and mental training at INS Chilika, these 3,012 young guardians are officially ready to protect India's seas and coasts.
