Summer Camp-2024

Paradip - DAV Public School, PPL, Paradeep kicked off the Summer Camp-2024 in the premises of the school today with elation keeping up the theme of Unplug, Explore & Grow. The Summer Camp was inaugurated by the Chief Guest  Palaniswamy Veluswamy, CMO, PPL, Paradeep-cum-Chairman, SMC, DAV Public School in the presence of the Guest of Honour, Sumit Senapati, CGM(HR & IR). This moment became memorable under the able guidance of Sanjeeb Kumar Sahu, Principal, DAV Public School, PPL, Paradeep for his meticulous planning and proper execution for the success of the Camp. Brundaban Rout, Coordinator, DAV, PPL, Paradeep presented a welcome note to the esteemed guests, teachers and students. The moment became lively by the presence of the distinguished trainers and coaches. This camp has been segregated into two wings, they are Creative Activities & Multi-Sports Activities. The Activities under Creative section includes students exposure to Public Speaking, Music, Art & Craft and this will continue from 6 May 2024 to 9 May 2024. The special attraction in this section includes Public Speaking and Pattachitra which are introduced for the first time in the Camp. Similarly the Multi-Sports Activities includes Hockey, Football, Cricket, Volleyball, Basketball, Table Tennis, Yoga/Fitness, Tennikot, Taekwondo, Sepak Takraw and many Fun Games.  Specially the HPC Grassroot Hockey Summer Camp will continue from 6 May to 25 May 2024. This time the school authorities have included some new sports/games for the first time in this camp like Tennikot, Taekwondo & Sepak Takraw. The Chief Guest of the day blessed the campers and stated that ‘You can take a child out of a camp, but you cannot take the camp out of a child’. The Guest of Honour expressed his happiness with the kids for grooming their talent in a playful way in this summer camp. All the activites will be conducted by the close supervision of school trainers- Mr.Jaydev Chakraborty and Ms.Sheetal Singh- Public Speaking, Mr.Saswat Kumar Bharatiya and Mr.Dibyendu Das Swarnakar- Multi-sports activities, Mr.Kamalakanta Nanda & Mr.Suryanarayan Sarangi- Art & Craft & Mr.Satyabrata Katha- Music. Also all other teachers will be there to support the campers. The programme was conducted and vote of thanks was rendered by Mr.Jaydev Chakraborty, HOD (English).

The eagerness of the parents to drop their little campers and the delight on the children’s faces was proof enough that this Summer Camp was the place to experience freedom and playfulness. With passion and zeal tacked together it was evident that the main objective of this Summer Camp 2024 here at our School was to make memories with new friends, of new skills, and of fun and frolic.
